HEN AND STAG GROUPS IN Cardiff and WEST WALES. best man/lady and maid-of-honour ideas your friends won't forget in a hurry!
Here is everything you need for a great way to celebrate the forth coming wedding. From just providing the days' outdoor activities to providing the total hen and stag package - Outdoor Wales is your one-stop-shop.
ACTIVITIES FOR ALL ABILITIES IN WEST WALES
This is the reason you have made it this way, so come and play hard and revel in what we have waiting for you to experience. Bush Craft, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Coasteering, Surfing and Climbing are just some of the activities available here.
You can get two activities done in one day so all you need to do is choose what you want to do or stay put and learn and enjoy from our Bushcraft course.
Our Cardigan and Wye Valey location is ideal for bushcraft (knive, axes, saws, fire-lighting and shelter building), various team events/competitions and clay-pigeon shooting. You could also prepare your own banquet by learning to cook local veggie stew, wild sourced meats, skin & butcher a rabbit (usually by the hen or stag) hand-smoke fish, bake herb bread, make fruit crumble and/or create your own designer sausages (this also makes spare-ribs and crackling for the group) - all with the help of our instructors.
ACCOMMODATION
The majority of our groups opt for our "Woodlander" (knives, axes, saws, fire-lighting, knots, lashings and shelter building) bushcraft course in West Wales. This involves camping in tents and staying in your own hand-made shelter. We are however able to provide all levels of accommodation (pre-pitched tents, cabins, B&B's, designer geodesic domes, hotels, etc) in the Cardigan area - all to suit your budget and needs.
CATERING
You have the option of B+B to full board - the choice is yours.
Ample sized breakfasts, professional hog roasts, BBQ's and packed-lunches are all possible.
Example menu:
Breakfast - Porridge, orange juice and hot drinks.
Lunch - Freshly prepared pasta salad, veg, bread and drinks.
Dinner - Fresh local-veg/rabbit stew (skinned and butchered by you - usually by the hen or stag), fresh herb bread and apple crumble.
You also have the option of learning to create your own banquet of local veggie stew, wild sourced meats (venison, goose, duck, etc), hand-smoked fish (mackerel, salmon, etc), baking herb bread, make fruit crumble and/or create your own designer sausages (this also makes spare-ribs and crackling for the group) - all with the help of our instructors.
All catering is done by qualified staff, using locally sourced, seasonal food where available.
